As usual, these bars are Cruelty-free, Paraben and Phthalate Free, ….. AND economical – they should last three times as long as shampoo in a bottle.
Ingredients:
Sodium cocoyl isethionate, cocoa butter, btms 25 conditioner, sodium cocyl sulfate, decyl glucoside, provitamin B, lactic acid, cetyl alcohol, stearic acid, mica, geogard, apple fragrance oil, argan oil, hydrogenated olivate and olive oil.
USING THEM IS SO EASY
- Begin with thoroughly wet hair.
- Rub the wet shampoo bar between your wet hands to create a nice lather.
- Using your fingers like a comb, smooth the lather along your hair.
- Gently massage it into the scalp and hair, as you would with a bottled shampoo.
- Work up a good lather.
- And rinse out! You’re done.
- Keep dry between uses. Please note shampoo bars are apt to get soft if not kept dry due to the moisturising ingredients. We highly recommend popping it in a draining tray above the spray zone between uses. We recommend a mesh soap holder or a Block Dock (listed on this site).

Just gorgeous! I used an Apple Shampoo in the 70s and 80s and this is just like it. Plus no plastic bottle and I am looking forward to travelling with it when we can again x

Double whammy
Like many setting out to reduce unnecessary plastic waste I hunted high and low for a shampoo bar that worked for me (unfortunately not as easily achieved as grabbing a different option each time you wander down the Personal Care section of the supermarket). So I was pleasantly surprised to find a solution that worked for both my daughter (who suffers from a birds nest each morning) and myself (long highlighted hair subsequently dry and knotty). Apple Schnapple has definitely made life easier! The bar actually lathers up allowing an even application and hair is easier to comb. My daughter just uses the shampoo bar, I tend to use both shampoo and conditioner bars.
